MAGIC HOUR is the new seven-track EP from UK-Nigerian Afrofusion artist Princess Wonda, blending Afrobeats, Afro-R&B and contemporary soul into her most refined body of work to date.
Built around themes of love, desire, confidence, vulnerability and self-discovery, the project captures the emotions that shape us through rich storytelling, infectious melodies and warm, immersive production. Inspired by the fleeting beauty of the “magic hour,” the EP reflects on the idea that life’s defining moments unfold in their own time.
The project features production from Mr Marz and Indigo Beats, with musical contributions from acclaimed guitarist Fiokee. Together, they create a sound that is soulful, cinematic and rooted in Princess Wonda’s unmistakable fusion of African rhythm and R&B sensibility.
Following a string of successful releases and sync placements on Amazon Prime Video and HBO Max, MAGIC HOUR marks a confident new chapter for Princess Wonda, showcasing both her artistic growth and her ability to create music that connects across cultures.
